search

public SearchResultDTO search(QuerySpec dto)

Searches for documents matching the given Query.

Parameters:

dto - contains the query information needed to proceed with the search

Returns:

a dto containing the search results

findById

public SearchHitDTO findById(String indexName,
                             String typeName,
                             String id)

Searches for a document matching the given arguments.

Parameters:

indexName - the name of the index that the document is part of

typeName - the name of the index type that the document is part of

id - the id of the document

Returns:

a wrapper containing the retrieved document

prepareScroll

public ScrollRequest prepareScroll(String indexName,
                                   QueryMatch query,
                                   int maxResults)

Creates a ScrollRequest that can be used for searches with large results ("page" type results).

Parameters:

indexName - the name of the index that the serach will be performed

query - the query of the search

maxResults - the maximum number of hitList to be returned with each batch of results

Returns:

a ScrollRequest to use in a search
