The <strong>HTML <code><label></code> element</strong> represents a caption for an item in a user interface. menuitem - The name of the command as shown to the user. Required when a <code>command</code> attribute is not present. optgroup - The name of the group of options, which the browser can use when labeling the options in the user interface. This attribute is mandatory if this element is used. menu - The name of the menu as shown to the user. Used within nested menus, to provide a label through which the submenu can be accessed. Must only be specified when the parent element is a <a title="The HTML <menu> element represents a group of commands that a user can perform or activate.
