extends java.lang.Enum<AlluxioStorageType>
    Specifies the type of data interaction with Alluxio.
    • For a write operation, this determines whether the data will be written into Alluxio storage. Metadata will always be updated in Alluxio space.
    • For a read operation, this determines whether fully read blocks will be stored in Alluxio storage.

      • STORE

        public static final AlluxioStorageType STORE
        Put the data reading or writing in Alluxio storage.

      • PROMOTE

        public static final AlluxioStorageType PROMOTE
        Same as STORE for writes. Will move the data to highest tier before access for reads.

        public static AlluxioStorageType valueOf​(java.lang.String name)
        Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)

        Returns:
        the enum constant with the specified name

        java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name

        whether the data should be put in Alluxio storage

      • isPromote

        Returns:
        whether the data should be promoted to the highest tier
