Method Detail

predefinedMetricSpecification
TargetTrackingConfiguration.Builder predefinedMetricSpecification(PredefinedMetricSpecification predefinedMetricSpecification)
A predefined metric. You must specify either a predefined metric or a customized metric.
- Parameters:
predefinedMetricSpecification
- A predefined metric. You must specify either a predefined metric or a customized metric.- Returns:
- Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.
-
predefinedMetricSpecification
default TargetTrackingConfiguration.Builder predefinedMetricSpecification(Consumer<PredefinedMetricSpecification.Builder> predefinedMetricSpecification)
A predefined metric. You must specify either a predefined metric or a customized metric.
This is a convenience method that creates an instance of thePredefinedMetricSpecification.Builder
avoiding the need to create one manually viaPredefinedMetricSpecification.builder()
.When the
Consumer
completes,SdkBuilder.build()
is called immediately and its result is passed topredefinedMetricSpecification(PredefinedMetricSpecification)
.- Parameters:
predefinedMetricSpecification
- a consumer that will call methods onPredefinedMetricSpecification.Builder
- Returns:
- Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.
- See Also:

-
customizedMetricSpecification
TargetTrackingConfiguration.Builder customizedMetricSpecification(CustomizedMetricSpecification customizedMetricSpecification)
A customized metric. You must specify either a predefined metric or a customized metric.
- Parameters:
customizedMetricSpecification
- A customized metric. You must specify either a predefined metric or a customized metric.- Returns:
- Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.
-
customizedMetricSpecification
default TargetTrackingConfiguration.Builder customizedMetricSpecification(Consumer<CustomizedMetricSpecification.Builder> customizedMetricSpecification)
A customized metric. You must specify either a predefined metric or a customized metric.
This is a convenience method that creates an instance of theCustomizedMetricSpecification.Builder
avoiding the need to create one manually viaCustomizedMetricSpecification.builder()
.When the
Consumer
completes,SdkBuilder.build()
is called immediately and its result is passed tocustomizedMetricSpecification(CustomizedMetricSpecification)
.- Parameters:
customizedMetricSpecification
- a consumer that will call methods onCustomizedMetricSpecification.Builder
- Returns:
- Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.
- See Also:

-
targetValue
TargetTrackingConfiguration.Builder targetValue(Double targetValue)
The target value for the metric.
Some metrics are based on a count instead of a percentage, such as the request count for an Application Load Balancer or the number of messages in an SQS queue. If the scaling policy specifies one of these metrics, specify the target utilization as the optimal average request or message count per instance during any one-minute interval.
- Parameters:

- Returns:
- Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.
-
disableScaleIn
TargetTrackingConfiguration.Builder disableScaleIn(Boolean disableScaleIn)
Indicates whether scaling in by the target tracking scaling policy is disabled. If scaling in is disabled, the target tracking scaling policy doesn't remove instances from the Auto Scaling group. Otherwise, the target tracking scaling policy can remove instances from the Auto Scaling group. The default is
false
