        Indicates whether the host accepts any untargeted instance launches that match its instance type configuration, or if it only accepts Host tenancy instance launches that specify its unique host ID.         If the service returns an enum value that is not available in the current SDK version, autoPlacement will return AutoPlacement.UNKNOWN_TO_SDK_VERSION. The raw value returned by the service is available from autoPlacementAsString().

If you are allocating the Dedicated Hosts on an Outpost, and you specify AssetIds, you can omit this parameter. In this case, Amazon EC2 allocates a Dedicated Host on each specified hardware asset. If you specify both AssetIds and Quantity, then the value that you specify for Quantity must be equal to the number of asset IDs specified.

        Returns:
        The number of Dedicated Hosts to allocate to your account with these parameters. If you are allocating the Dedicated Hosts on an Outpost, and you specify AssetIds, you can omit this parameter. In this case, Amazon EC2 allocates a Dedicated Host on each specified hardware asset. If you specify both AssetIds and Quantity, then the value that you specify for Quantity must be equal to the number of asset IDs specified.
      • hasTagSpecifications

        public final boolean hasTagSpecifications()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the TagSpecifications property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
      • tagSpecifications

        public final List<TagSpecification> tagSpecifications()

        The tags to apply to the Dedicated Host during creation.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasTagSpecifications() method.

        • If you specify this parameter, you can omit Quantity. In this case, Amazon EC2 allocates a Dedicated Host on each specified hardware asset.
