lifecycle

public final InstanceLifecycle lifecycle()

Indicates if the instance that could not be launched was a Spot Instance or On-Demand Instance.

If the service returns an enum value that is not available in the current SDK version, lifecycle will return InstanceLifecycle.UNKNOWN_TO_SDK_VERSION. The raw value returned by the service is available from lifecycleAsString().

Returns:

Indicates if the instance that could not be launched was a Spot Instance or On-Demand Instance.
