Class CreateTableRequest

    • Method Detail

      • catalogId

        public final String catalogId()

        The ID of the Data Catalog in which to create the Table. If none is supplied, the Amazon Web Services account ID is used by default.

        Returns:
        The ID of the Data Catalog in which to create the Table. If none is supplied, the Amazon Web Services account ID is used by default.
      • databaseName

        public final String databaseName()

        The catalog database in which to create the new table. For Hive compatibility, this name is entirely lowercase.

        Returns:
        The catalog database in which to create the new table. For Hive compatibility, this name is entirely lowercase.
      • tableInput

        public final TableInput tableInput()

        The TableInput object that defines the metadata table to create in the catalog.

        Returns:
        The TableInput object that defines the metadata table to create in the catalog.
      • hasPartitionIndexes

        public final boolean hasPartitionIndexes()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the PartitionIndexes property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
      • partitionIndexes

        public final List<PartitionIndex> partitionIndexes()

        A list of partition indexes, PartitionIndex structures, to create in the table.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasPartitionIndexes() method.

        Returns:
        A list of partition indexes, PartitionIndex structures, to create in the table.
      • transactionId

        public final String transactionId()

        The ID of the transaction.

        Returns:
        The ID of the transaction.
      • openTableFormatInput

        public final OpenTableFormatInput openTableFormatInput()

        Specifies an OpenTableFormatInput structure when creating an open format table.

        Returns:
        Specifies an OpenTableFormatInput structure when creating an open format table.
      • toString

        public final String toString()
        Returns a string representation of this object. This is useful for testing and debugging. Sensitive data will be redacted from this string using a placeholder value.
        Overrides:
        toString in class Object
